I got my first scooter for my 16th birthday and they have been a passion ever since.
After graduating from Loughborough College of Art and a briefly studying fine art at Texas Christian University. I was lucky enough to combine scooters with my other passions of art and screen printing and make a living from selling the now well known patches wherever a motley crew of mods and scooterboys gathered at seaside towns across Britain.
Little did I know that the patches would become such a huge body of work and little did I imagine that I would still be producing them in 2017!
None of this could have happened without the remarkable dedication shown to the scene by riders, clubs and customisers who have spread what for many has been a way of life across the planet.
I feel it a privilege to have met so many amazing people through our bizarre little hobby and take my hat off to you all!
I once told a Channel 4 TV crew that I sold the patches for beer money. Now they pay for red wine and two stroke but the passion is the same for art and scooters.
